PIPOC 2019 Returns As The Most Comprehensive Global Palm Oil Event

The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) is excited to once again host the International Palm Oil Congress and Exhibition (PIPOC 2019), which will take place in Kuala Lumpur from 19 – 21 November 2019, featuring the theme ‘Balancing Sustainability Pillars’.


In line with the theme, the biennial event is set to revolve around the vital aspects of sustainable production of palm oil, i.e. Planet, People, and Profit, with a focus on the latest research and sustainable practices in the global oil palm industry.



YAB Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, the Right Honourable Prime Minister of Malaysia, will be officiating the opening as well as presenting his keynote address. “The ever popular PIPOC is set once more to be an informative, thought provoking, and inspiring palm oil event,” said Dr. Ahmad Parveez Ghulam Kadir, the Director-General of MPOB.


“As the world’s largest palm oil congregation, PIPOC provides a platform for interaction and in-depth deliberation on various facets of the industry, from the latest policy developments to the challenges and the way forward.


“Participants are able to gain valuable opportunities to learn from experts, share their knowledge and experiences, expand their network and explore further advancements in the industry,” he added.


In addition to featuring five concurrent conferences, PIPOC 2019 will encompass an exciting line-up of activities, including technical tours and a golf tournament as well as a trade exhibition with over 400 booths displaying new industry advances, current technologies, equipment, and products.
